Compare listings side by side

Two to four listings in one table and a PDF, for an investor or a home buyer. Nothing is estimated.

Where to find it

  • Brokerage dashboard: A listing › For your client › Compare
  • Agent dashboard: A listing › Compare

How to do it

  1. On a live listing, under For your client, press Compare. Or, from a collection: Collections, the collection's ⋯, Comparison report (its first four listings; swap in others from it). Or tick listings on Listings (cards or table), or projects on Listings › Feasibilities, and press Compare in the bar at the foot: the first four go side by side, the rest one press away.

  2. Add up to three more listings and choose Investor or Home buyer. Press Who it is for to pick one of your clients (most recent first; typing narrows the list) and their brief goes on the report's goals page, or type any name. Add what you are solving and your next steps in your own words if you like.

  3. To make it for one client, open Change the figures for this client under an option and type their own price, rent, growth or mortgage: only this report uses them, the listing's feasibility stays as it is. When the listing has an inventory, choose Unit from the inventory to quote a real unit: its price and size go into the figures and the report names the unit. Also show figures in adds US dollars, pounds, euros or Australian dollars under each USD figure, at the daily rate.

  4. Under Include the feasibility, choose With feasibility (each option's costs, returns and years held, from its sheet) or Comparison only (the listings side by side on what they state). The choice shows only when an option has a feasibility, and at a brokerage only to owners and admins: an agent's comparison leaves the feasibility out.

  5. Check the table and download the report. On a phone, press Download, then Send the PDF: your phone's share sheet opens with the file itself, for Messages, Mail or Save to Files. Or press Send by text: the PDF is kept behind a private link that opens for 30 days and your messaging app opens with a message carrying it, on a laptop too.

  6. The report runs: a title page with the options; the client's goals and what you are solving; a page for each option on its own (photo, facts, deposit schedule, its feasibility and holding years) for presenting one at a time; the options side by side, one page per section (price and value when there is no feasibility, feasibility, holding, the area, paying for it, timing, the home); and What happens next, with where each one leads, your next steps and your contact.

  7. A blank field reads Not stated; leads and green marks are only arithmetic on what the listings say.
